The ability to double click on the note title and format it, added with v8.63, works well and is a real time saver!
Some day, maybe changing font typefaces and size could be added, too.

Personally haven't found it to be meaningful.
It's still far more cumbersome then using the modify dialog to change more then a single aspect and I very rarely need to change one thing so since 80~90% of the time I wind up going to modify anyway, the muscle memory goes straight to it even in the 20~10% of the time I only need to change a single thing and it would be slightly faster.

Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
