Archive Shortcut Key

Post by DavidN »

I have requested this in another way in a previous post. It would be great to be able to have a short cut to archive a message and determine the location of the message.

For example: Select the message and hit Ctrl+E and it move the message to a folder.

I believe this would greatly help in productivity rather then clicking and dragging a message.

This one should be relativity easy to implement. Will see if we're able to do that in the next version already.

Hello, thank you for your consideration. Is this still an option to add to an upcoming release? This is a huge time saver. I am not an advocate for Outlook, however, this is a feature that they employ that is a huge time saver for archiving messages.

Not for for the upcoming version, unfortunately. Although, you'll be able to quickly move/copy messages to a list of last used mail folders through context menu in EPIM 9.6.

Looking forward to learning more about the context menu. Is 9.6 coming soon? Also, would I be able to activate the context with a shortcut key? If so that would help greatly.

It was released today :) You will not be able to use a shortcut key as you need to select a folder where to move/copy the selected message(s) into.
