Hide completed tasks in select parent drop down menu

Post by S_Belle »

When making a new task it would be handy if there was an option to hide all completed tasks in the select parent drop down menu as it gets to the point where you can only find things with search even if you only have a couple main tasks that you always add all other tasks to.

Thank you, the suggestion is noted. In the moment there will be no completed tasks shown in the list if they're hidden in the main view, as well.

Interesting.

When I read what you said I said to myself. "Maybe he means it'll change to that since it certainly doesn't work that way now."

So I went to make a video showing that tasks where hidden in the main view and still showing in the main view. Well preparing to make the video and practiced going back and forth toggling the hide completed and add new task and after a couple of time's it randomly started to work just as you said.

So I tried I a new database to see if it started out that way and it did.

So in the end for anyone else who may wonder by this in a search this appeared to be one of those random glitches in my own old database that worked itself out by flipping options back and forth.
