I have installed EPIM Release version and in separate folder installed version Beta. Independent which version is running it get the same last version of base. I suggest to separate last used base for Release and for Beta version. The same with Options which chanel check for updates. In my opinion it should be set separate for Release and for Beta version.
It could be done by make these two parameters diferent for Release version and for beta, or make different ini files for these versions.

Agree, this sounds like a useful option. Thanks for bringing it up.

Re: Beta and Release versions the same computer
Also an option for the users who want to test EPIM beta is to use the portable version. Than you can put that beta portable version in a desired folder. You can have a test database in a subfolder of the EPIM beta folder and have a separated test environment. As long as you do not copy anything like databases or ini-files, they do not interfere with each-other.

PeCe, I think this is currently achievable through installing Beta as a Portable version the way you described. Or did I misunderstand something in your request?
