From each list, one may create/copy an internal link or an instant-print from any item form the context-menu.
But during work with opened items (p.e. to edit them), it is hard to search them evereytime in the list if You want to copy a link of the active item or to do a print from it.
By the way, especially printing of all/only marked text is not possible.
Sample for links:
to get an overwiev over the history of a task/conversation, it is recommandable to note all calls, letters and emails to it with some comments.
Instead of writing large comments, it is very elegant to set a link on an email or a letter (letter as an external file).
You get the doubkle speed or more if You can copy the link of/to an email directly during reading or writing it without changing windows.
It is the same to take a hardcopy for a paperfile.
So please make it possible to do this by an opened item too.

+1
I'd like to have the 'Copy as Link' in the context menu of any opened item.
Or a keyboard shortcut for coping to the clipboard the link to the active item.
Or both.

Thanks for the suggestions, noted.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
Re: Linking and printing open items (notes, tasks...)
In the meantime, I have lost some text of a task during writing a lot of text.
So I wished to have had a Save-Button too.
EPIM seems not to save an opened item byself.
It does sometimes; unfortunately if You inadvertently have changed text You didn´t want to change . Up to now I couldn´t find out when/when not.
Does anybody know something about?
