Critical Suggestion - Epim sever sync conflict handling

Post by Rose Ford »

The new EPIM server sync is a good feature of business, but is made useless by the fact there is zero conflict handling and notes are overwritten simply by whomever synced last.
:!:
What really needs to happen is that a list of previous edited time stamps needs to be kept with the sync, when a synced file has been edited after the last sync by someone else then a diff window should pop up showing your note [or other items] on the left and the one currently on the server on the right, and ask you which you want to keep.

Agree, that's an important point, thanks for letting us know about it. Will try to improve it in the very nearest versions.
