Because of a persistent and returning malware on my android phone and despite several factory resets I have decided to cut the internet on my phone. I have installed Epim manually without going to Google. Whey I try to synch with a cable attached but no wifi I get an error message that says it is possible to synch via a usb cable but the only option offered is wifi via ports.
Is it possible to do a cable link synch? [Try saying that quickly 6 times!]
If so, how?
And where is the data stored on my android?. Could I simply replace the file with an updated one?
I am using version 7.53.
thanks

Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!

Thanks. Knowing where to look is everything. I am working with Linux which has a different set of issues but I have found some Linux advice on Android tethering. Hopefully that will provide a solution to "Firewall" response.
