I recently had a question as to using cotacts module as system contacts app, but didn't get response.
You can read it here viewtopic.php?f=46&t=36030
Is there a solution or is contacts module not meant to replace system contacts app?

Re: Question to admin
There's currently no solution to that, unfortunately. That's how it works.

Re: Question to admin
Thanks for the answer. It's ok for me. So far I just didn't know whether I make a mistake or there is a bug.
As far as I understood in past, AEPIM contacts module was meant to replace Android app. So ... is this still possible and just not made in app, or won't there be a solution, for what reason ever (i.e. Android won't let third party apps)?

Everything I mention comes out of my experience. I'm not an expert. Feel free to try anything I suggest ... but always at your own risk.

Re: Question to admin
I think this should be possible in the future.
