Duplicates

Post by DavidN »

Hello

I am doing a 1 way sync from PC to Android app. Using all current releases of both softwares. My phone app now has duplicates of all appointments and tasks. I do not have these same dupes on my PC.

What can I do to resolve this issue?

I guess the easiest way is to delete all appointments and tasks in settings from the phone and then do a new sync.

Thank you. Are you saying to delete from inside the app? I do not see where that setting is in the app. Can you be more specific?

Thanks

On the phone:
Settings>Purge Data

On the PC under Synchronization>Edit>[Phone]
On the first sync, consider: 1-way. Sync from EPIM to Android (EPIM->Android)
After your data is on both systems, consider switching EPIM over to: 2-way. Sync both EPIM and Android with each other.

Thank you. I will purge the data. However, since the onset, I have only performed a 1 way sync and I am still getting duplicates.

Please also try clearing up the sync data from File->Database Management (select Android and click on the Clear button).

I tried. That did not work. I also sent the log file to support on Friday morning.
