Synchronization with nextcloud - Contact photo is not visible

I sync my contacts with nextcloud (version 14). However, the photos can not be displayed in nextcloud

EPIM is 8.14 Pro

I have tried again with the current version 8.51 (Pro). The contact photos will not be synced to nextcloud. I think that's a bug.

EPIM does not support Nextclud per se. Using which protocol do you synchronize Contacts?

Nextcloud would go well with EPIM's philosophy.
My synchronization is via CardDAV / https

I tried again.
This time with a new EPIM version including a new DB. In Nextcloud (latest version) I created a new user. I selected owncloud as the synchronization profile. The synchronization runs normally. All contact details have arrived in nextcloud. Data is also stored in the field of the contact picture. When I try to download the image in nextcloud, I receive a file with the name "20191225T091527Z508330.vcf". This is an approximately 8 KB file that cannot be displayed as an image.
Something is wrong with the synchronization

It looks like Nextcloud gives you VCF format, which can not contain image (specifications: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VCard)
You might want to read Nextcloud documentation if it is possible to download images.

Which vCard version (v3 or v4) does EPIM use?

I did a test with Thunderbird: Install the CardBook addon and set up synchronization with Nextcloud (CardDAV / vCard v4).
Photo in CardBook added and start the synchronization with nextcloud : the photo is correctly displayed in Nextcloud. Then a synchronization with EPIM started (one way to nextcloud): The photo in nextcloud was again overwritten with the vcf file.
To me, that sounds like a bug in EPIM
