(Solved) Minor Bug - Contact set to private but birthday appointment stay public

If I create a public contact and add a birthdate.
Save it and close it.
Then edit it and set it to private.
The appointment for the birthdate stay public. (I'm expecting it to turn private)

A workaround is:
> edit the contact and set its status to private
> clear the birthdate,
> then save and close the contact
> reopen the contact
> re-add the birthdate
> save it

EPIM 8.54.1 Pro Portable
Windows 10 64bits

With EPIM 8.54.3 Pro Portable.when I enter the birthday of a contact, no appointments is created for the event. And the display of the age at the bottom doesn't appear.

Hello,

both the birthday and age do appear on my tests. Can you try once more, also on a new database.
If that does not work, please upload a new database with a birthday in Contacts.

The issue that you mentioned earlier regarding non-private Appointment is fixed.
