Keypass Style Password Icons Feature
Currently the EPIM Passwords module only allows for customizing main group icons. I would like to see the option within the Passwords section to include a 16x16 icon for each sub entry, like that of all versions of Keypass. For me it is a powerful visual locater when I need to do a quick lookup. I don't even have to read the entry because my mind recognizes the icon. This doesn't seem like a difficult feature to add, because it already exists in both the Notes section, and Main Group headings of the Passwords section. I have a lot of personal icons already made for my Keypass, and it would be so nice to bring the same ones over to EssentialPIM. Here is a screenshot attached, of what icons in Keypass look like.

This feature is more or less ready, it will be included in one of the new major versions of EPIM.

Re: Keypass Style Password Icons Feature
Just a reminder for this thread, that I still would like very much to see the same option that exists in the 'Notes' module to choose icon, brought over to the 'Password' module. I know you replied to the effect this feature would be available on a major release version of EPIM. Like I said, it's just a reminder that I haven't given up wishing for it.
I've got a lot of personal icons (as you can see on the screenshot) I've made (and still adding to)for Keypass over time, that sure would be nice to bring over to my EPIM.
Thanks for Listening,
Frizzell

Re: Keypass Style Password Icons Feature
Ability to have icons for password entries (not just for the password groups) will likely appear in the next major 9.0 version of EPIM.

Re: Keypass Style Password Icons Feature
I am still hopeful that password icons will be implemented in the version 9 revisions/updates at some point. That would be the icing on the cake after you created the excellent ability to view PDFs inline within the notes module that I brought up. After that, I have no more suggestions, so I guess what I am saying here is, implement password icons and you will never hear another peep out of me. You'll just have to get suggestions from someone else in the future...
Thanks EPIM Team for all you do, and for still being here after all these years!

Re: Keypass Style Password Icons Feature
Yes! Please give me the instructions on adding all my icons to my passwords. I'm anxious to try it.
(However, if the instructions are to make each password a separate group, I've already tried it and that wont do at all.)
Thanks, Frizzell

I'm still wishing and hoping for this feature to show up in an upcoming version release.... Thought it would be there by now.

Re: Keypass Style Password Icons Feature
As the feature requires changes in the database structure, it's currently scheduled for EPIM 10.0 release.

Okay... I'll be watching and waiting for it. I'm not giving up on the implementation of custom icons for each password. In the meantime, I'm up to around 200 icons now.
So if anyone who's reading this wants a bunch of 16X16px jpg icons, give me a shout and I'll zip them all up for you.
