Entries marked "read only" in EPIM can be edited in Android and synced back.

Hi, sorry if this has been answered in the forum but I searched and couldn't find it.

I want to be able to have items in EPIM that you can't change in Android.
I know I can do that with a 1 way sync but that leaves the Android app limited in functionality.

If I mark something on EPIM Desktop as Read Only, I'd expect to not be able to change it in Android. As it is now, if I sync it to Android and go into the Android app, I can edit it by either adding or removing text to it. When I sync again it syncs the changes to EPIM desktop, even thought it's still Read Only. It really shouldn't do that.

If there's some way to have it Read Only in Android also, where I can't change or delete it, that would work great. If there's a way to do that now that I'm missing could someone fill me in on how to do it right?

Thanks,
Larry

Unfortunately there's no option to mark items as read-only in Android EPIM, yet. Although, this feature is in our to do list for implementation in the new versions.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
