Maximim import size ?

Maximim import size ?
I have now started with 8000+ conacts import, is working. Latest Pro Version
But wonder the maximum size of a csv import (KB) . Earlier I tried bigger import, but "too bid" for import.
SECOND. with 8000 conacts now, it takes about 30 secnds before I see the contacts in the listings. I that normal,can it be quicker ??
THIRD: if a send a email out, I type is xxxyyyzz, but apparently it takes time to "find" the emailaddress starting with xxxyyyzz, after 10 secs.
it was found and then I can go ahead. Can that be faster. ??
