New lines in lists converted to new items
Hi there,
hopefully the last bug I found today:
Inside of an unordered list in a task, it is possible to create a line break inside of a list item by pressing Shift-Return:
However, if I save the task by pressing the "Ok" button and reopen it afterwards, the line breaks are converted into new list items:
(I can only reproduce this issue in the "Tasks" module. In the "Notes" module, the Shift-Return feature works as it should!)

Re: New lines in lists converted to new items
Hi again,
if you're looking at it: I just noticed in the "Notes" module that Shift-Return only works with unordered and ordered lists, but not with checklists. Of course it would be nice if checklists could use this feature too - sometimes it's more clear to use some newlines/blank lines inside of a checklist.

Re: New lines in lists converted to new items
Working fine for us. Please try on a new database, will there be the same problem?

Re: New lines in lists converted to new items
Tried it with a new database and created a new task there.
Before saving the task:
After clicking Ok and doubleclicking on the task:
It looks as if it works for the second line of an item while the third and all following lines get converted into new items.

The Shift-Return key combination also works differently with checklists compared to unordered/ordered lists. The behavour of the latter is more useful IMHO.

Which checklists do you mean? What are unordered/ordered lists? How can we check this out?

Hi there,
the issue mentioned in the original posting seems to be fixed with v9.9. However, the second issue (see the video by @Keldi) is still present in the current version.

Re: New lines in lists converted to new items
The second issue is by design so far as formatting for checkboxes is different from formatting for the bulleted/numbered lists.
