Unfortunately due changes on the iCloud side syncing of contact pics is not possible anymore (at least until a workaround solution is found).

Too bad, eM Client, for example, shows the contact pictures without problems.

No, it doesnt work!

343 contacts - no pictures.

You need to delete contacts from WinEPIM, clear up iCloud sync data from File->Database Management and then sync again. You'll then end up with newly received contacts with pictures. Just make sure you backup your database before doing that, please.
