Request: Note Module Layout
Hello Developers
Here is the note module layout I like. Another popular note app implements this layout.
Happy New Year !
Thanks.
The following I made with spreadsheet Perhaps, it is clearer ?

Re: Request: Note Module Layout
+1.
No, +++1.
My notes trees get very long, with many subtrees expanded, and they at many levels sometimes. So, to visually review all the top tree levels, I have to frequently collapse many subtree levels, only later to re-open them. This proposed note module layout solves this problem PERFECTLY! Kudos to dirmansyah for this suggestion.

Re: Request: Note Module Layout
Here's a picture of Joplin's UI for reference, seems similar to the suggestion:
EPIM "tree" leafs are Joplin "notebooks"!
Side note: To add to that, currently it is hard to use the notes module for journals since it is not easy to view the creation date in the tree view. Ideally a journal would have a simple list on one side that shows dates and titles and the editor on the other, you can get this by using the calendar table view for journals, but appointments lack many of the styling features of notes.

Re: Request: Note Module Layout
One more useless step. You can use the tabs (leafs) for such functionality.
-1 from me too. I had the same reaction when I read the suggstion, neither I get why an extra level would be needed, no need for me, at least...
Re: Request: Note Module Layout
Don't think we should get into the habit of -1ing things around here unless it's going to effect something that isn't optional. Especially in this case since most particularly great applications have lots of layout options to fit unique needs.
I wouldn't use this, but I have no issues with it being an option for people who do need/want it.

Re: Request: Note Module Layout
Fully agree with MetalDrop, as if/when this layout is implemented it's going to be optional.

Re: Request: Note Module Layout
Optional sounds really good! And where can I disable the new separated word search feature in the notes? It hangs when you paste a long search string in a quick search field and forget to wrap it with quotes.
