Adjust Dates issue

Post by rgrun1 »

I go to use Adjust Dates and it defaults to the start date. I want the due date but cannot get at it even if I uncheck the start box
If I click down to the button to move by (minutes, hours etc) and immdeiatly click back ,, NOW I can get into the due date and set it to my needs

Please correct me if I am missing something but should I not be able to just get to the Due date section?
Why can't I select a change of start AND due dates, tmes etc?
Thanks

Uncheck Keep duration, then you'll be able to check both Start & Due/End dates, times (or Due/End date + Keep duration, or Start date + Keep duration).
It seems the Adjust Dates feature works in any configuration you might expect from it, but has something weird going on with what checkboxes get disabled until you click around a bit with checking/unchecking.

Issues:
1.
Adjust Dates
uncheck Start
Due/End is still disabled (workaround: uncheck Keep duration, check again later if needed)

2.
Adjust Dates
uncheck Keep Duration
uncheck Start
check Due/End
check Due/End Time
the drop-down list for time is still disabled (workaround: check Due/End Date, uncheck Due/End Date)

3.
Adjust Dates
uncheck Keep duration
uncheck Start
check End
check Keep Duration
uncheck End
Start is still disabled (workaround: uncheck Keep duration, check again later if needed)

I am also expriencing an issue when trying to move items from yesterday to tomorrow. It will only move them to today and not to a future date.
I am not sure if it is a random thing or possibly something I am doing. The part where you can move things x amout of minutes/days etc. works corectly

I have the same issue. The adjust dates dialogue box is not at all easy to understand or use. When I enter a task with a specific date/time (no duration as it is not relevant) and add it to the calendar it shows on the calendar at 00:00 time not the actual time stated. The 00:00 cannot be removed. I fiddled around with the settings for ages but can't get it to do or show what I want. Confusing!

Forward us a screenshot with the task details that starts at a specific time and yet is shown at 00:00 in the calendar.

Event time is 2pm. Start time not relevant. Calendar shows 00:00.

I need to be able to include an appointment in my task list and show it in the calendar as an appointment not an activity with a duration. The calendar should show the correct time of the appointment.

Sorry but that video is so difficult to follow! Looks like a complex procedure to do something very simple.

This is by design. If there's no start time, EPIM shows the task as starting at 00:00. Which start time would you expect to see in such cases?

If the appointment time is 2pm (both start and due time set to the same) then that's what should be shown in the calendar, not 00:00. It makes no sense.

There's no start time for the task on your screenshot. If you set it to 2 PM, it will be shown at 2 PM in calendar.
