Fixed. "Float" task behaviour seems odd

Post by Trinitylab »

Hello,

The newest EPIM pro biz.

There is this new "float" task, which is a good idea, in general.

But this default behaviour doesn't seem to make sense:
float task prolonged.JPG
Here it goes:
I set a 30 min. task for Wednesday, yesterday, made it show in Calendar, made it float.
That means, if I don't mark it as finished, it floats to another day.
So far so good.
Here we are with Thursday 6 Jan. The task is made two-day.
What is the purpose of making 30 min. task "two-day" (or more days) if I am supposed to do "on the other day", within 30 minutes?
I believe it should move to the same time next day?

Cheers,
Piotr

Thanks, please note, that there will be a possible conflict, which needs to be solved from devs side:

what if same time on the next day is booked by an exclusive appointment?

Usually, when setting appointments, there is a warning, and it cannot be set.
How to do this, while float task is moved automatically?
Set of the options in Options?
Something like "when a float task conflicts with exclusive appointment"
radio button "move to first available time slot AFTER"
or
BEFORE.

Tasks aren't appointments, therefore there's not going to be a conflict of interest.
