Sync: Better visualization of list of competing items

Post by Chris17 »

Especially on little monitors its hard to see a difference between a dark blue arrow and a dark green arrow.

a) If there is a long list with competing changed items in Windows and mobile-Version it takes too long to check the list. So I wish to have arrows in complementary colours.

b) Because only one statement "reject all" in the alarmlist of a mobile You will update multiple items on the mobile without their content is really changed. They will regularly appear in the list of competing items when syncing. And they will overwrite items one has changed before on the PC, and the really new information from PC-item will be lost by synchronising, if you will not pick every single pair an check it.
So please You may add a headline with checkboxes above the competing items to check/uncheck all items from one side to be synced in the same direction.

With list of competing items I meant the list of items which are changed on both devices since last synchronisation. Please look to my attachement.

I see now, thanks.
a. Please define what you mean by saying "complementary colors".
b. You mean like a general rule which should be applied to all currently visible conflicts?

a) complementary colours are colours wich are located opposite one another in a colour wheel: https://www.designerinaction.de/wp-cont ... -itten.jpg
Complementary colours can be distinguished from another very easily. (p.e. green/red, blue/orange, yellow/purple)

b) Yes, it is exactly what I mean: all items may be synchronzed only in one direction (which may be choosen from this popup-window).
