I changed the password via the website of my provider (German Telekom) and stored it in a Password-DB. Login to email account with browser (Firefox) and new password from PW-DB works.
I changed the passwort in EPIM under (UI translated from German) Settings / Email Account / Change / Server: In (IMAP) and Out (SMTP). I tried manual input and copy/paste from PW-DB, but I always get 'Invalid login!'.
Did I forget something? And, is there a way to make the password visible in EPIM?
Thanks.

Re: Problem changing email password
In password module there is an eye-icon right of the password. Click on it to make the password visible/unvisible. And in Tools/Options/Passwords there is an option "Show passwords in main view".Did I forget something? And, is there a way to make the password visible in EPIM?
Re: Problem changing email password
Thanks very much.
But I forgot to mention: I am using an external Password-DB, not the EPIM module. I just wanted to see the password in the email account settings.
But you sent me in the right direction...
Problem solved.
