I have a question.

How I can move one of the synced "Category" in Epim = "Calendar" in google to separate new "Calendar" in Epim?

Let's say I made new "Calendar B" inside Epim. I want to see Category B inside this new "Calendar B". Calendar B is synced with "Google Calendar B"

I can click each appointment and move to newly made "calendar B" ... is this the only way?

I was expecting I was able to have each Epim Calendar has each sync, so, expected to have Epam Calendar A will sync Epim Category A with Google Calendar A, and Epim Calendar B will sync Epim Category B with Googla Calendar B.

New possibilities, new wishes...

Since we can now manage different calendars independently of each other (a super good idea!), I would find it excellent that when you want to set a new appointment, a default calendar can be defined. In my case, I would set the private calendar as the default so that it is not possible for private appointments to appear on the group calendar by mistake.

I tried version 11.0 RC1. Very very nice.

In my opinion, it would be very useful to have a button in the top bar in the Tasks to directly activate the custom view bar. Or, even better,
always have the drop down menu of templates always available in the top bar without having to open the custom view bar every time. This second solution would really be the TOP for me!

Hi there,
so I finally managed to download RC 11 from that link. The first 10 tries were unsuccesful.
After installation there was a new entry in windows7 start menu "EssentialPIM Pro Beta". The old entry still was there (starting 10.2.1).That's how it is supposed to be?
When starting RC program says that I'm about to open DB a second time, which is not the case (nothing else is open at that time).
Clicking on yes, to start it anyway, on next window program says that some shortcuts cannot be registered. It remains like this, even when I go to "Standard" in options (as to shortcuts).
AND
Sync-status-window (EPIMcloud) when closing program is hidden in task bar behind icon of main window. Hovering with mouse over those icons, it doesnot show any content. When I click on the icon in task bar, which should be sync-status-window, it opens and shows correct content
What to do?

a8907433, please update as the language file as the app files. Better yet install the portable version into a new folder and see if the issues are gone. Looks like some of the files weren't updated properly.

FireBrand2026, we're on it, I cannot promise quick implementation and that it's going to look exactly like you suggested, although changes are already planned and updates are on the way.

Haldex, good to know you managed to make the sync working, thanks for the update! Regarding the default calendar - so far new events will be created in the selected calendar, although your suggestion noted, thanks! As for the sync error - please forward us the sync log file.

paulfb, would appreciate if you forward us the log file of the failed sync. Will be able to better understand what went wrong there. Agenda view in Calendar, confirm this problem, will fix. And sidebar in Notes works ok on our side. Are you on a Portable version?

ЛеонидЛогинов, it works as expected on our side. If possible, please make a short video demonstrating how the caldav sync works on yours. As for the tasks - you'd like them to be divided into accounts, as well? Regarding the strange logic - I think you're the only one who utilizes that scenario, so no changes are planned with it, yet. epuhzgis, you can move different calendars all together with their events from one account to another (check the calendar's properties). all the calendars under the google calendar account will be able to sync with google. Hope this answers your request.

I did so, but this had no effect. But I could not see, how the German language file should have any effect- I use EPIM in the English version.

I found that, when I enable/disable the sidebar in calendar, I can take the edge of the sidbar-window and pull it to the edge of the screen- then the sidebar is gone.
Only drawback of this method is, EPIM is not remebering this, after a new start the empty sidebar is there again.

I will unpack the next release in this directoy- I delete all exept the database and the .ini file with my license.
I only now start my regular using of V11, in adition to using V10. When all works fine, I move all data (db + program) to my regular portable directory.

You mean you checked the language file or installed EPIM into a new folder? It doesn't matter which of the language files you use, what matters is that it's properly updated.

I can confirm the issue with Sidebar reappearing after EPIM's restart, will fix it.

Every time I test a new version, I test it in an empty directory. I only use the porttable versions.

Another issue: I just tried to use the "Autotype" in passwords: First try (Autotype in top menue): EPIM not responding, had to close it with task manager. Second try: "Autotype" on the top menue is not working. Right clicking on the password entry "Autotype" is working.

I tried again, click on "Autotype"- EPIM hangs. Here you see my Taskmanager: One EPIM (V10) is running, V11 is inactive (not reacting at all).
