Your user name and password are not defined. Ask your administrator to set up a Firebird login

Post by Bazzzer »

Hello,
I'm getting the message on all my 4 logins (Business versions of EPIM):
"Your user name and password are not defined. Ask your administrator to set
up a Firebird login"

History:
I tasked an old Windows 10 PC after a clean install of Win 10 to be just a
Firebird database. I opened all the required ports, and after getting the
message did a search on the Forum and tried the various suggestions. None
helped, so I turn to you!
Thanks,
Barry
PS
By the way, the Firebird version I am using is the version currently bundled with the EPIM Business download.

So,
After thinking things through, and thinking about the message, I tried an experiment.
I deleted all the accounts from the database that was on the PC where Firebird resided as I designated it the SYSDBA account.
I then added accounts, one by one with different names but the same passwords, rebooting after every manoeuvre, behold - it worked!
I now have access to all my accounts on the various PCs.
Now to sort out the Android syncing!
