Sadly it doesn't work at all
Sadly it doesn't work at all
Today I cancelled my subscription that I started yesterday.
The Android app keeps crashing very frequently.
Syncing simply doesn't work because a lot of notes are missing and my calendar stays empty.
Perhaps that's because syncing never finishes due to the crashes?
I let sync run for an hour to without using my phone to avoid crashes. That didn't solve the syncing problem.
ePIM Windows is a really great product that can stand its ground among the competition very well, but for me the cloud/android is the total opposite.
In no way I want to insult, but it feels like an (early) alpha build.
I'll will test again in a year time to see improvements are made. Hopefully it's up to the quality of the Window version which I use daily for years.

Re: Sadly it doesn't work at all
We'd of course like to dig deeper into the problems you experienced starting with the AEPIM version number. So please let us know if you're up to it. Thanks.

Sure I'm willing to help.
I downloaded the Android app from the Google store yesterday. Version 6.07
On Windows I have a lifetime Pro version.
On Android it suggests I buy pro, so I guess that means it's not fully activated on Android?
Phone: OnePlus 6T with all official updates (security) installed.

Re: Sadly it doesn't work at all
You don't need to purchase the Pro version on Android to be able to sync with EPIM Cloud. Now, please try to sync say the Calendar's module in AEPIM with EPIM Cloud and let us know about issues (if any) you faced. Thanks!

Re: Sadly it doesn't work at all
Using my PC I can login but when I sync I get this message.
HTTP/1.1 503 Service unavailble.
When I login using my Android app using the same password it's rejected.
I'll retry tomorrow.

Re: Sadly it doesn't work at all
Hm... the error means there could have been some issues with the service itself. In any case, please try now, will it work as expected?

Re: Sadly it doesn't work at all
The calendar stays empty on my phone.
Before I started this thread I tried to sync Notes and calendar. Some of the Notes were partially synced.
I've now excluded the Notes from the sync and only sync the Calendar as you asked me.
I would expect the sync to remove the Notes, but they seem to be untouched.
HTTP/1.1 504 Gateway Time-out
And a little later "Synchrnized 2 items"

Only "EssentialPIM" calendar under the EPIM Cloud account will be synchronized with your phone so far.

Re: Sadly it doesn't work at all
That seems to do the trick.
I did sync all of them but most are empty. Last weekend I accidently entered something in the EssentialPIM calendar and it does show up on my Android phone.
I don't care how my calendar is named so it would be fine to have everything in the EssentialPIM calendar.
Is there a way to move my other calendar to the EssentialPIM cloud version. Retyping is no option because it has many (reoccuring) appointments.

Sure, in WinEPIM right click on the Calendar you want to move into cloud and choose Properties, then select EPIM Cloud form the Account drop-down box and click Ok.

A year later it still doesn't work.
I was forced to switch to an alternative. While the notes itself aren't as good as epims, the cloud part works and is free.

Could you please specify what isn't working? Thank you.

Re: Sadly it doesn't work at all
I did that a year ago: HTTP/1.1 503 Service unavailble.
That message has been there literally for the entire year.
I got a supscription a year ago. Unable to get it working. Cancelled it to avoid renewal.
Everytime I start my PC I get that error. I just click it away everytime. The reason I'm mentioning that it can't be due to the cloud being down for a while.
Now there's nothing to test because the year is up and my subscription ended a while ago.
But nothing changed. I get still get the same error. Not even a message I have to renew my subscription.
In that year it synced a few fragments. Like the a title, a few words of a not

Re: Sadly it doesn't work at all
If you canceled your subscription some time ago, how do you know there's still an error message when you try to sync with EPIM Cloud?
