Synchronized with iPad, got double passwords

Post by Skysails »

I synchronized my ipad with my PC for EssentialPIM 11.1.11. I put in for one way from the PC to the iPad, but for some reason there are now double entries on my iPad.. what did I miss? To fix this, I'm thinking I should purge the data on the iPad and repeat? But I would rather not have this happen the next time I go to Synchronize. Thanks

Thanks!

Hard to say what went wrong without seeing a sync log file first. Please forward it to us, it can be found here: Tools->Options->Synchronization, Browse... and its filename should start with "iPhoneSync". Thanks!

As you can see the name of this file starts with "SQL", while there should be "iPhoneSync". Thanks!

Not sure I can figure out how to upload the file this time... I kind of found it by accident before.. this time it keeps wanting to go to inline which I think is only giving you the name of the file and not the file itself.

Thanks, although the log file is empty. You can open it with Windows Notepad for instance, and check its contents. You need to perform a sync, then if there are duplicates, get the log file, attach it to your next post of forward it to me via a private message here in the forum and mention names of the notes that were duplicated.

Woa, it worked this time, got new passwords, but not double passwords.

Second question.. I see Passwords and Tasks on my Ipad, but not Notes.. what do I need to do to display them? I The attachment is the text file that has today's date on it.. not sure if this is a help.

Thanks,
Lynn

Thanks, Lynn. There's no Notes module in the iOS version of EPIM, yet.
