Post by bitseeker »

Hi team,

it´s not possible to copy/paste row(s) in a table in the notes editor.
Would be great if you made this work.

thx bitseeker

This is probably the same as bitseeker's post, but copying and pasting a row puts all of the columns from the copied row into the first column of the new row. Example: After sorting (nice feature, by the way), my column header row moved to the bottom as expected. When I highlighted all the cells in the bottom row and pasted into a new row at the top, it performed as described above.

A workaround is to copy and paste the value from each cell individually but this can be cumbersome if there are many columns, or if many rows must be copied (or cut) and pasted.

swwhit52, please make a short video demonstrating the problem, so that we're 100% sure we fully understand your request. Thanks!

I'm afraid I don't have time to make videos. My request is not worded very well but I was trying to keep it short.

You can easily duplicate the problem by copying a row in a table that has values in the cells and pasting the row to a new location in the same table.

If it works correctly, then I must be doing something wrong.

thank you.

Attached is a video of the problem swwhit52 described. All of the copied cells are put into the first column.
