IO can find no way to associate EPIM with the Windows 10 .ics file type.
Using the Settings>Default apps by file type is of no use. The default allows selecting something from the MS store only which is of no use.
What to do?

It should work, we're talking about the Desktop version, not the Portable one? If so, will have a look at the problem.
