Reminder window not taking focus

Since I have upgraded to 11.2 and later 11.2.4, my reminder window from the calendar module no longer pops up on the desktop. The only way I know I have reminders due is if when look at the task bar and see two windows showing for Epim. The reminder window is there, it just doesn't show until I click on it. I depend on epim to remind me of appointments I have due and things I have to get done for the day, so this has already caused a few mixups.

The attached picture shows the taskbar I see when the window is active but not visible.

I have epim 11.2.4 on a Dell tower running Windows 10 64 bit.

Try clicking on the pin icon in the reminders window to make it always stay on top once it appears.

I toggled it a number of times and it doesn't seem to make a difference

I just installed the latest patch 11.2.5 and the problem is still there

Please check if you're going to experience the same issue with the newly created DB and a couple of sample events. If so, record a small video demonstrating the issue. Thank you!

The video shows what I am encountering. At the start you can see the main window is visible and the taskbar show 2 icons active for epim, the main window, and the reminder window (for which there is no preview as would normally be the case).

Where the reminder window used to pop up onto the desktop as soon as a reminder is due, it no longer appears at all unless:
1. I know it's there waiting, and
2. go click on it in the taskbar
