Spam bounce back.

Post by marsheng »

I'm using the message rules for spam. I use the delete option for my conditions.

Is it worth having a bounce back option so maybe the spammers remove the email address from their db?

This is an interesting idea, although I doubt it's going to work as message headers will be different comparing to the genuine bounced emails.

I'm not sure if genuine bounce for existing and normally functioning email addresses is possible at all even on the mail server's side. And assume that would be possible, there's no guarantee spammers take bounces into account.
