Sync Error

I am trying to synchronize the EPIM database for the first time, with Google, on a wifi that produces less than 100kbps throughput. So, it takes a very long time and works best during the wee hours. EPIM finally gets done with appointments, and I think, mostly through tasks, about an hour into the sync, when I get a "access violation--program terminated" error, whatever that is. Nothing else is open. Everything stops! I have attached a picture of the popup. A web site download gets 2-3Mbps by contrast. This shouldn't be happening, and I don't know what to do. Why do I get the error and why does it take so long? Please help.

Please forward the sync log file to us. You can find it by going to Tools->Options, selecting "Logs Folder", and looking for the file that begins with "GoogleSync". Thank you!
