EPIM iOS tasks displayed in today but not task list

EPIM iOS tasks displayed in today but not task list

Trying to selectively synch tasks (too many to synch all from PC to iPhone)
Created two tasks, one private, one public. Public synch fine, private does not. Exactly what I wanted.

HOWEVER, the one task that I am testing with (using a test database) only appears in EPIM Today, and not the Tasks "tab." And even though it is scheduled for today, it also appears in "Late Tasks" (screen shots attached)

Can someone help me and tell me how to get the public tasks shown in the tasks tab?

Would you be able to reproduce the problem with yet another test task? If so, could you please provide us with a list of steps or specific instructions on how to reproduce the problem?
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
