EssentialPIM Pro has a sophisticated system of tests to prevent users from setting back the system clock in order to bypass the program's license restrictions. However, there are instances where the clock-back detection system can be triggered accidentally, such as when the clock is set to a future date and then reset to the present. If you encounter this issue, we have a FixClock key that can help resolve it. Please follow the instructions below to use it effectively:
  1. Launch EssentialPIM as you normally would and wait for the clock-back error message to appear.
  2. When the error message appears, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard.
  3. While holding down the Shift key, click the OK button. This action will bring up the FixClock window.
  4. In the FixClock window, enter the provided FixClock key: 5CB7-0361-B0DC-8DF0.
  5. After entering the key, if your system clock is now correct, that will fix the system.
  6. You will see a messsage indicating whether the system was successfully fixed.
In rare cases, it may be necessary to reboot your system and attempt the process again if the issue persists.

It's important to note that FixClock keys have a limited validity period of a few days. Once the key has been successfully used, it will become invalid. If you encounter the same issue again in the future, you will need to obtain a new FixClock key from us to address the problem.

Hi, I got the following error message when I tried to open the program on a laptop I haven't used for a few months:

Your system clock appears to have been changed, possibly in an attempt to defeat the security system on this program. Please correct your system clock before trying to run this program again. If your clock is already correct, rebooting the system may fix this problem, otherwise contact the author of this program for instructions (report code CCB-A).

My clock and time zone are correct (I'm on the west coast, so not sure if it's due to daylight saving, but I've not had this issue in the past). I tried using the Fixclock Key in the previous thread, but got another error saying it's not a valid key. How can I fix this problem?

Hi, I'm getting the same error again today. Yesterday it worked when I opened the laptop, so I thought the problem may have been resolved. Today when I used the fixclock key you sent, it says "That is not a valid Fixclock key, please try again."

I'm not sure why it works one day and then not another day, please help.

It seems like there might be an issue with the system clock settings on your laptop. Here's another fixlock key for you: C15C-1FCF-E894-EC68.

Regarding why the key becomes invalid, please refer to the last paragraph in the previous post with instructions on using the fixclock key.

Like you suspected, it seems to be an issue with my system setting. So I uninstalled the system restore point from the date I started using the laptop a week ago. It took a while but later the error was gone. I waited another day to make sure it was resolved for good, and it is still working today. Thanks again for your help :D
