Anonymise data
Hello,
I keep reading posts from EPIM that a database copy is necessary for validation purposes, which is perfectly understandable.
Now the problem is usually that many users do not want to pass on a copy either because of the file size or because of the confidential data content.
Hence the idea: installation of a function that shreds all relevant passwords (in the mail accounts, in the syncs) as well as in the password list and replaces them with fake values if necessary. The same should also work for mails, notes and tasks.
Ideally, the individual components should be selectable. This should at least clarify the data protection issue.

Re: Anonymise data
I think it's easier for users to simply select all and delete data that's not relevant to an issue or that they would like to remove.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
