Color highlighting gone with update, past completed tasks not hiding

With the last update all my event names highlighting in colors matching the category so they popped out when viewing the calendar are all gone. I really don't like this at all. How do I get them back, or how do I roll back to the previous version.

Also my past completed tasks are no longer hidden even when that is checked and says hidden at the top.

I can't give you a screen shot of what it did look like. I don't have
one. But this is what it looks like now.

Most of the events showing were marked as completed but still are showng, they were not before the update.

All of the text names I highlighted to match the category color. All the highlightings I previously did are gone. See the one highlighted, I re-did it to show an example.

We don't see any completed events displayed on the screenshot. Please double-check by opening any of the events to ensure that they are indeed marked as completed.

Additionally, regarding the colors of the events, I would like to refer you to my previous response, specifically point number 1. I have provided detailed info regarding the customization of event colors and how to apply them.

Of course you don't see them, that is the point, all the completions were undone. ALL OT THEM! I always check the completion 100% when I finish paying the bills so I know which are left to pay. ALL the completions for the whole calendar were removed. it happened with the last update. Normally when I get done at the end of the month most events are invisible because I checked them as 100% completed, and the hide completed button. I'll send you another screen shot showing the hide completed button checked with none hidden. This is a regular activity of every month how I pay my bills so I KNOW they were previously marked completed. Well, apparently the popup showing completed hidden does not show on a screenshot, but believe me it was checked.

I did not understand your first comment, after revisiting it, that actually is better than what I had been doing, manually adding color by by highlighting each text. I still don't know why they disappeared but that option is much better so that point is moot now. Thanks, and I apologize for the previous misunderstanding of your post which was my fault.

Yes. But with every update, the problem seems to recur.
