Hello
I use a wide monitor. This also applies to those who use dual monitors. If you open a separate instance of EPIM there is a risk of data loss. It would be helpful if we had the ability to open modules in new windows so we could view full window's of calendars, tasks, notes or contacts in a separate window. I stay in email because that is what consumes my world. The side bar is great, however, many times I need a full window to have a better view of my work.
Thanks for all your help.

Third. Excellent idea. I have a wide screen monitor, this would be a fantastic increase of productivity.
PC Desktop: Window 11 Pro, 34 inch 4K monitor.
Cell phone: Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, Android 12 - linked with Garmin Fenix 6 Pro wrist watch and Fitbit Sense wrist watch.

Fourth
Before EPIM I used different tools for calendar, tasks or notes. Now I have everything in one place which is great, but before I could use the tools at the same time on 2 monitors, now I have to switch between the modules. It definitely would be more productive to have the option to open modules in windows!

Re: Open Modules in New Window
Thank you for stepping in. As a workaround, you can currently open the same database file in multiple EPIM instances (not recommended if you have POP3 mail accounts).

Re: Open Modules in New Window
In my case: should I connect to the DB with the same or different user as the first instance?

Re: Open Modules in New Window
Ah, you're using a business edition. You can connect as the same user, although such a connection would count towards the number of your licenses. So that might not be an ideal workaround solution for you, unfortunately.

Re: Open Modules in New Window
OK but at the Moment I have one User free, so I could connect with instance 1 and user 1 and at the same time on the same machine I can open a second instance with user 2?
For sure Not the best solution but a workaround for now

Yes, you can do that, and it should work.
