Calendar widget 2x2; display "today" AND date?

Post by poet-man »

Widget displays "today" for current day only.
May I suggest to display date also (i.e. "today, 05.08.2024)

Reason:
Sometimes user is not quite clear as to what day is meant by "today"

Hm... under what circumstances can a user not be certain about today?

I should have made it more clear ...

Imagine widget says "today meeting" and the next entry is "dinner with family". But there is another day in beetwen, which one might not realise, because today has no date, or no day of week, but all the other days have. So, as today there is that meeting, dinner is the day after meeting, not realising there is a day between.

But there's a day/date shown for "Dinner", so you can be certain of the date it falls on, right?

Well, normally you're right. But if there is a day in between on kitchen calendar, in epim it seems today and dinner are two days that follow each other directly. If not clear what I mean, I could do a screenshot
