Can not reply to emails

In version 12 I can no longer reply to emails! If I click the Reply button nothing happens. I can reply using my providers webmail interface, so I know that is working - but something is really broken in EPIM. What changed in version 12??

Well, I thought it was working, but I was wrong. The Reply, Reply All, and Forward buttons are all non functional. Something is goofy bigtime!

Not sure if this helps, but I got the attached error message trying to send a Reply.

What is your Windows OS version number? Are you now running the build I posted a link to above?

To clarify, did you install the build I mentioned in my previous post above, and the reply buttons are still not working for you? Other users have reported that the buttons started working for them after installing that specific version with a fix.

OK that did fix the problem on the Reply, Reply All, and Forward buttons. I must initially installed that version, and then overwrote it with the 12 version directly off the EPIM site - that is why it worked, and then stopped again. So that problem seems to be solved - Thank You!

Back again... The Reply button seems to be working, but I have another problem. I can send emails and replies from my main mailbox (provider Time Warner),but when I try to do a reply from a secondary mail mailbox I get the attached error message and the reply fails to go thru.

The error is originating from your outgoing mail server, and EPIM is just relaying the message. To resolve the issue, you'll need to follow the guidelines set by your email provider.

There is still something screwy with email and this version of EPIM. I went to my web eamil on Time Warner and I can send and receive to my main mailbox and all sub mailboxes - plus I can do send and receives no problem.
- Now when send a reply in EPIM I am getting an error message to send to the EPIM developer - and I can't because EPIM will not let me. A new problem I am having is when I send a reply using my web mail and open it in EPIM, the text is in to tiny to read! I need to zoom up each message to see the words.
- I would like to go back to EPIM 11, however, my database was updated to 12 and can not be read by 11. Is there anyway to convert the database back?
- I have been using EPIM for 10+ years and have never had anything like this happen before! You folks have great support, but something really went west here.

You are referring to the latest error log you included in your last message, right? Does this issue always occur when you click on the reply button (the one from the toolbar)?

At this point, I don not remember what steps caused the error dialog to appear. I am still getting the error you said was generated by Time Warner and is my problem to figure out. To me this is frustrating since I have not changed a thing in my EPIM install except the upgrade to 12.0.1 and if I go to my email via the Time Warner email site - everything work perfect.

Another thing that is happening with my emails using EPIM is ALL MESSAGES ARE COMMING IN IN .0001 FONT SIZE AND ARE UNREADABLE!!!!. I need to zoom all messages up by about 10 times to even see the words. What the "H" is causing that???? Please explain. Again, after using EPIM for 10 years I am very close to dumping my "lifetime license."

The error message you received contains clues about why the mail server isn't accepting your emails. The key issue is that the email address you're using to send emails (from address) doesn't match the one authorized with the outgoing mail server.

For the second problem, a small video or a screenshot illustrating the issue would help. You can also try removing the INI file (make sure you back it up first) to see if that makes any difference.
