Font color overdue tasks

Hi there,

maybe this bug is connected to a quirk I noticed since I updated my device (Realme 8 Pro) from Android 11 to Android 12 some weeks ago: The colours of the items have changed with this update, especially the brighter ones. See the following pictures with some test appointments, all tagged with a category associated with the colour yellow.

Screenshot from my Android 12 device, the shown colour is dark brown instead of yellow:

Screenshot from an Android 8 device (this is how it looked on my Realme 8 Pro with Android 11), the shown colour is yellow as it should:

The colour of the title bar is also different. EPIM 6.0.5 for Android, but also with some earlier versions. The widgets are installed in dark mode.

On my end, I do not see same improvement yet in calendar list widget (v 6.0.9).
Is it still to be implemented or is it a hardware related thing on my phone?

Hi, on my phone it looks like this with newly created widgets:

Overdue task is still much harder to read in Calendar widget (top) and easier to read in Task widget (bottom).
Please do same adjustment to Calendar widget as already adjusted to Task widget.

I was going to write the exact same thing when I found this post quoted above.
At this point, I cannot read the overdue tasks at all. Not one letter.

It's always better that the user have the choice of colors because not everyone perceives colors the same way. What's good for one person may be terrible for another.

Do you have a timeframe for this fix?

Other than this, AEPIM ROCKS!

+1 on this. I use a few Categories with darker colors and the Red font on the over due tasks makes it hard to see/read.
