EPIM 12.1.3, Build 1030 will gives odd error & will not install

I have a lifetime license for EPIM and have used the Pro Business program for years. However, when I try to update to version 12.1.3, build 1030 I get the following error message.

" The number of currently connected users: 1 exceeds the number of your EssentialPIM Pro Business licences: 0. No new connections are allowed."

Is this something new with version 12.1.3? If so, can I use the regular version of EPIM without any loss of function.

Please see if installing the 1031 build solves the issue for you (download link: https://www.essentialpim.com/download/t ... ull121.exe). If not, you can forward your license info to me via a private message here in the forum, we'll check it out. In the meantime, you can use EPIM Pro normally, no other functions aside from remote DB access should be affected.

The full install still gives the same error. I had to restore to version 12.1.2 get actually use the program. My license is lifetime - Tony Ciconte.

Any further assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, you’ll need a Business license to connect to the database via LAN.

What changed in version 12.1.3? I have no problem running version 12.1.2

I'm having the same issue as tonyc01. I'm using a remote Firebird database with a Pro Business license (lifetime). I perform registration with my license key and have no issues. Then when I run the app I get the message that I have 0 licenses available and must purchase a license.

I'm not sure I follow. I have a Pro BUSINESS license already. I have lifetime updates as well. Why would I need to purchase a new license?

Sorry, when I clicked on the link it took me to the post that said I would need a new license. After scrolling up further I saw the download for build 1031. The problem is fixed using build 1031. Thanks for your responses. Have a good one.
