Different representation of tasks

Post by daho2018 »

Hello,

I work a lot with the tasks and have found a suitable representation that I can work with every day.

Now I would like to have these tasks displayed differently from time to time (different fields, different sorting, etc.).

At the moment, this is only possible if I change the existing display, which is of course bad, as I then have to painstakingly rebuild the displays again and again.

Hence the idea of creating different representations based on a task list, which can be easily changed without destroying the other representation.

Thank you.

You can use custom view templates to achieve that. Once you have a view layout you're happy with, save it as a template. Then, adjust the view to create an alternative layout and save that as another template. After that, you'll be able to quickly switch between views by selecting the desired template from the list of available ones.

Hi @admin,

After a short test, things are moving in the right direction.

But what does NOT work: The arrangement of the columns is not taken into account and the selected grouping is not saved.

The column arrangement works on our end. At this time, grouping settings are not retained in templates but we intend to address this in upcoming updates.
