I recently started using EssentialPIM, and it’s been such a refreshing change compared to the constantly shifting app market. With tools like Evernote and Notion, I often found myself stuck without internet access or weighed down by subscription fatigue. Plus, the endless updates made it hard to keep things consistent.

EssentialPIM, by contrast, offers simplicity without sacrificing depth. I love how the local WiFi sync with my iPhone puts tasks right in my hand without worrying about internet access—it just works. It doesn’t try to be everything, but what it does, it does well. I’ve synced my contacts and tidied up my list from the PC, and I’m excited to start managing notes here too. It’s exactly the functional tool I needed.

I've recently discovered 2 wonderful features.
1. Ctrl-Z : I deleted an old Task accidentally. I couldn't find it, so I tried Ctrl-Z the universal Undo. It worked! Very cool. It undoes no just text but actions we perform.
2. The attachment preview function. I attach PDF reports and bills. It is helpful to check that the right report is going to the right person and to do a quick scan of the report for obvious mistakes before it goes out.

One clear reason is that the developers listen! They take the remarks from this group very seriously and try to implement suggestions. Thank you for adding multiple monitor support!

same as DavidN and hope the handfull top needs/ideas will be realized pretty soon.
some are very easy, like let some icons add in 2nd menu bar or allow floating in appointments.
i also posted very shortly how i would customize my perfect epim, as everybody prefers other layout/view.
million thanx

EDIT
and it is the reason why i give all my best input, like features or to post some tips on using epim in blog, as it was not the way for very long.
futher so!
i only miss to see the working on feature list.
but supose as not in beta team, don't get an insight/overview.
hope you have at least there an insight/overview.

In my 80+ years on this earth I have spent 50+ years involved with IT. I started at low level functions, and advanced to mainframe and user support, management of both world wide. This includes programming at many levels. I thought I had seen it all till I started getting involved with the level of these functions I see today. I have to give all the kudos I can think of to the people that write and support these applications like Essential PIM. When you think of all the variables these people have to write into, or modify, to support a request it becomes beyond my comprehension.

I have to give these people a lot of credit for the product they have written and are supporting. They are really great in what they are doing. I have looked into many of their compeditors and none are better. In pure fact I find that Essential PIM has more, and more varied/advanced funtions. I Thank them everyday to myself. I justt thought it was about time I Thank them to them.
Thank You to the men and women that write and support Essential PIM. You are the GREATEST.

I was quietly using EPIM today and accidentally mis keyed something which placed a number of duplicate tasks in my epim database. Ran the file through the archive/duplicate remover app and it said only 4 duplicates which I removed. After restarting the app I still noticed multiple duplicates. Some repeating and others non repeating. Now I have my task list of ~200 grouped by due date so I can see what is coming by date. I never realized how simple it was to change that setting to none, sort by task name, manually fix my problem, and then reset my setting of group by date. Long story short EPIM is a fantastic piece of software, with many wonderful setting you can modify to suit your needs at any given moment. Thank You Again.

Another light bulb went off in this old mind this morning. I was looking at the daily view and noticed my display of subtasks. I said to myself there is NO OTHER application I know of including MS ToDo that presents such a nice visual of this. Repeating options are one of my pet peeves. If they don't work then I don't work. Essential Pim has a floating task. Microsoft and Google sure don't. I don't know of any other task manager that does that. You go guys and Thank You Again.
