Contact Sync Problem with Windows Mobile
I have EssentialPIM Pro with window sync. I have had a problem for a while with the sync process. I have info on my desk top that in not updating on the mobile unit (HTC Mogal). In most cases it is the home address in the Personal Info tab. Not sure what is mapped from the desktop to mobile. Is there a way to force a record to update?

Unfortunately there's no way to force a single field to get updated. Please try to clear the synchronization data from File->Database management. Should probably help.

I have tried that in the past but tried it again. Did not update the contact information on the phone. It did do a lot of double entries in the schedule. Is there a way of clearing the phone and having EssentialPIM rebuild it?

Re: Contact Sync Problem with Windows Mobile
Yes, there is.
- Create a new EPIM database file and synchronize your phone with it
- Now delete all the data from this new database and synchronize again. This should make your phone empty
- Now go to your existing database file (the one you currently use), clear the WinMobile synchronization data and synchronize with your phone
- This procedure should place all the existing data back into your phone.

Tried deleting all and it did as you said including clear the WinMobile. Resynced and still have the same problem. Below is what fields I am using and what is going across.
On the desktop I have the following fields with info in them:
Personal Info - Display Name, First Name, Last Name, Birthday, Department, Primary Email, Home Phone, Home Address, Home City, Home State, Home ZipCode, Custom 1, Membership.
Business – Company, Job Title, Business Phone, Business Email, Business Mobile.
Notes – I use this too.
On the Phone I have the following fields that EssentialPIM used:
Name, Company, Department, Job title, File as, Work Tel, Categories, Work2 tel, Birthdate.
Can you tell what fields to in the desktop go to the phone?

EPIM should synchronize the values of all fields with the same names.

Ok I decided to just export and copy all the info to the notes field. Guess what when I export (text and html) the only thing that exports is Name, Displayed name, Bus Phone, Bus Mobile, and Notes. I am not sure where to go with this. I need to get the info over to my phone.
Thanks
