Notes Selection doesn't persist

epim 3.21 portable pro xp sp 3

so far 3.12 was the most stable version but unfortunately I cannot turn back
I suggest there should be a utility or a save back feature in a save as dialog to enable users to revert to stable releases


some other very unpleasant new feature in 3.21 is that when i select a note and then switch to another tab for a sec and then back - i see other note displayed and not the one that was open when i switched to another tab. So I need to start looking for my note all over again

in 3.12 everything worked perfect in this respect.

Why you can't revert back to 3.12? When upgrading database, EPIM made a special backup of your 3.12 database, that can be opened in 3.12.

Regarding notes- confirm bug.

it's just that I've made substantial changes in the converted database so reverting to backup doesn't make sense to me now

Will wait for the next release. Would be good if epim team could inform us on when the next release is scheduled.

I would also support a point bug fix release with no beta time-frame so that users could gradually update their databases until no discovered bugs left

I suggest that because quantity of bugs(or removed features eg contacts cols & notes sel) start to be a major problem for this app (in my opinion)

I should also add that not only selection that doesn't persist but the tree state as well

if i expand a tree and then switch to another tab and than back - the tree node which was previously expanded is closed.

I guess it relates to the same problem of not remembering the tree state between tabs switches

This is that most terrific bug for me as constantly switching over different tabs..

pls help
