PLEASE VOTE for text formating in the Calandar
We can view ToDos in the Calandar, for a year now since ver 3.2. The "Day View" works fine.
But the "Week" and "Month" Views do not. The GUI elements (boarders and icons) seem a bit
bulky, and fill up an already small space. This is limiting the amount of information displayed.
My recomendation is to add "advanced text formating" to the Calandar. Each user could define
what elements to display, and appropriate text size. With this featuer, every user could find
thier own balance between readability and capacity, according to the various monitor sizes.
See two examples of how it might look.

I like most of Christian's GUI suggestions. This one is the best so I add my vote for it.

Option 2. No question. Sometimes there can be a lot of info there and it looks just weird with the big fonts.

Hello
I find it as a very good idea. It gives much more flexibility depending on individual needs.
I vote yes.

I agree Mark.
Kinda strange it hasn't been added earlier, or why people haven't been requesting it before.
Anyways, now the important bit; My 100 post. Yeah. After all these years

This is kind of difficult to implement, otherwise we would have done it. There were numerous requests on this.

Re: PLEASE VOTE for text formating in the Calandar
Can't you just add a web object to display the formatted text?

Re: PLEASE VOTE for text formating in the Calandar
The problem is that we synchronize the data with a lot of web services AND devices (WM, Palm), most of which (if not all) do not support rich text formatting. Keeping synchronized different versions of text is difficult if not impossible.GeoTrail wrote:Can't you just add a web object to display the formatted text?

Re: PLEASE VOTE for text formating in the Calandar
Is rich text formatting necessary for syncing? in otherwords, is it possible to
have text formating within the EPIM calander only?

provided compatibility with other devices, this is a nice idea. On a 1-5 priority scale, I would give it a 3. Holding my vote, though, because the compatibility is the condition.
