New Ver 4.02 > Error checking 2nd email acct

Post by rich249 »

I am having trouble with the new version 4.02 checking 2nd email acct. I had same issue with prev version. It churns, then stops checking. I get msg saying it's "closing gracefully". All settings are correct & work on Thunderbird. I changed time out setting to 330sec, with same issue. 1st email acct checks OK, but wont send. 2nd email acct (which wont check) sends OK. Any suggestions?

I have noticed a similar thing when I was trying to send a mail from my 3rd account, it would connect, recognized there was a message to send, but then end with "closing gracefully" with my mail unsent.

Thanks! Problems with checking mail- is this POP3 or IMAP setup? And if this is public service- would like to know what exactly.

In my case it was a yahoo.co.jp account with POP3.
