Where's the EssentialPIM calendar on Android?
Where's the EssentialPIM calendar on Android?
OK, so I -finally- got the EssentialPIM app installed and working(took a while!).
AND figured out how to disable the firewall so I could sync (your instructions COULD be clearer!)
Connected and sync'd all elements (except passwords).
So, now, clue me in... Just WHERE is the calendar events?
And how do I access them from the android phone??
(I'm running Samsung Galaxy Nexus Android 4.1)
When I start the app, the only three icons are
"To Do', "Notes", "Passwords" and "PC Sync"
No "Calendar"???

We're synchronizing with an internal (built-in) Android calendar at the moment. You can find it in the list of all apps that are installed on your phone.

So if I'm syncing with an Android tablet and there is no native Contacts or Calendar application, then all I get from using EssentialPIM is the malfunctioning Notes and ToDo list? Is there any other Contact or Calendar app that I can install from Google Play that will sync with EssentialPIM?

Is there such a tablet with no native Contacts and Calendar application in existence?
If synchronization of notes and to dos is not working out for you, would appreciate more details about what specifically is not working.

I agree with ronkral.
The look and feel of the desktop-calender is essential. Moreover, I would like to synchronize with that calender, not the standard Android-one. The desktop version of EPIM is perfect
, I would highly appreciate that version on my tablet (SAMSUNG 10.1 tab 2)!

Re: Where's the EssentialPIM calendar on Android?
Hi All,
A question related to a Calendar usage on Android phone:
after the front/back sync with my current Calendar app (Calengoo) on my Android phone the Categories and Colors of my Events are messed up. Several new Categories are added to my EPIM categories list, the Colors assignment in desktop EPIM is changed (looks like it's now random). The same applies to my TO-DOs.
Is there any way to force EPIM to maintain it's Categories/Colors untouched after the repeated Sync with the 3-rd party programs on the Phone?
Thanks,
My Info: Windows 7, EPIM Pro 5.03, Android Amaze, Calengoo Calendar app for sync with EPIM. Calengoo syncs with my Google account independently from EPIM.

Unfortunately there's no way to retain only categories. And nothing should have happened with To Do categories are To Dos are synchronized with our own Android module. Not sure what happened in your case but you might want to clear the synchronization data up in (File->Database Management, Android, clear). Thanks.
