Android data backup
Android data backup
I would feel quite uncomfortable entering a lot of important data into EPIM Android for a whole week (for example when abroad) without backup
So why not integrate EPIM with Mybackup Pro which is a popular Android app.

MLO recently did it.

Re: Android data backup
Thanks, will think about backup options. Please note that at the moment you can already export passwords into encrypted files and sync to dos with google tasks. That leaves only notes without any backup so far.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!

With Backup Pro, they will put a link to Epim on their website. Nice advertising

There are already lots of other links. I doubt our link will be noticeable at all

Yes, but none of them is an integrated PIM with outlining capabilities & can Sync directly with a Windows version.admin wrote:There are already lots of other links. I doubt our link will be noticeable at all
BTW when I look at a website, I just don't notice, I look for that rare bird I have been searching.

Re: Android data backup
Hello,
import encrypted file with passwords (from SD card) is not well implemented but confusing! If I want select the file for import I see .csv, .csv.encr and .xml files. I suggest hide all .xml files and .csv.encr files rename as date_encr.csv. It would be also good before first export data file create folder EssentialPIM in root of SD card (or into sub-folder Android/data..).
Did you thinking about synchronize Tasks and Notes with popular MyPhoneExplorer Client?

Thanks for the suggestions.
Sync with MyPhoneExpolorer isn't planned at the moment.
