Important functions are missing

Post by graf »

- Connection to Android Calendar, so that appointments can be displayed in the widget (or your own widget)
- 7 prioritätes abstufungen (wie in Desktop Version)
- categories for tasks
- Month view in Calendar
- Remember the last selected view in calendar

Without these features I can only partially work with the android app. I would be really happy if it would come soon.

Otherwise: excellent work of EPIM development team! I love EPIM!

- Calendar widget will be available soon
- 7 priorities.. Not sure how many people need that
- Categories for tasks are coming
- Month view in Calendar will be available sometime during next week (it's in the final testing phase)
- That's going to be added in options

Thanks for your suggestions and appraisal! :)

There is another few important functions missing;
-to do showed in calendar (I have many to-do's showed in calendar on my PC version, but after sync I can't find them in calendar on Android version)
-all to-do and notes list can't by sorted by custom
-there is no custom fields for to-do in Android version
-very important month view in calendar

Also
-contacts still not sync
-email's could sync with android email

Assuming Android version could match PC version as much as possible :D

Thanks, all the functions listed are in our to do list :)
What do you mean by saying that contacts do not sync? They should be.
Not sure about synching email, though, as there's no universal android email app and IMAP does its job perfectly.

One more request - please, add a button "Today" (like the one with Ctrl-T shortcut in PC version) for easier navigation.

Yes, but only from Day and Week views. There is no Today option in Agenda view Menu.

Hello again.
I did double check and I still can't find these functions in EPIM for Android:
-to do showed in calendar (I have many to-do's showed in calendar on my PC version, but after sync I can't find them in calendar on Android version)
-custom fields for to-do
-month view in calendar

Will you add them?
If so when will any update avaiable?

It was easy to add and at the same time offered noticeable improvement. Thanks for suggesting that ;)

I'm going to add my 2¢ worth on the widget issue: please prioritize this much needed feature!
I always used the Business Calendar app, which has great widget options, and would like to see something similar in EPIM. Since EPIM no longer syncs with the internal calendar, I can no longer use this app, and I really miss the convenience of being able to get a quick look at my calendar by swiping 1 screen. I think the EPIM Android app has come a long way, and I really want to continue using it, but the lack of a widget is making me consider switching back to the dreaded Google calendar sync.

While I'm at it, I would like to suggest that in the month view, there be an option to add text to the color coded bars. While the full text would not be visible due to the space limitations, a little text might make it easier to distinguish between appointments.

Thank you, and keep up the great work on this wonderful program. I look forward to the widget option being available very soon.
