Yes, you are not the one especially in the wake of recent global events. We have no plans in pulling the APK files out of the web site, don't worry about that :)

I am reactivating this thread. Same thing occurred this morning.
The Android app sees the pc, but cannot synch, says I should check the firewall. :?
I have NOT changed anything on any of the devices since last sync. And I tried again withouth the firewall.
Current versions: 2.2.7 on Android and 5.57 on PC

Thanks I'm going to install this version if it fails again, but in the meantime I tried something on my side. I reinstalled the same PC version I had, complete with Firebird, over the current installation. Then I restarted EPIM, [but it couldn't open the DB, said "the computer host has expressedly refused it". Then I thought it was a problem with Firebird, hence I restarted the PC and then it worked fine, so this was not a real problem. The DB opened on the PC.] AND the synchronization with the Android worked ok. Now I don't want to touch it until....

I have no clue why sometimes sync fails, and why it works again. Possibly one file became corrupt and reinstallation fixed it, as I already had restarted the PC before without success (but no reinstall.). I only did something on the PC, nothing on the Android.

Hem.... usb synch ???? :-)

Hm.. interesting, something in the network might be causing such behavior but not sure what if it works most of the time. USB sync could be an option when it's available.

Hi there,
as for nathMS, about 3 or 4 days ago, I got again the problem. I had not changed anything either... I did not change anything then, and the day after, I tried again to sync EPIM : it works !! As you said, something is causing such starnge behavior, but what ? Rgds.

If it happens again, please try to disable and then re-enable your firewall with no sync in between the actions. Let's see if it's a firewall causing this.

Yesterday, sync worked. Today it does not.
I tried to do as you said, disable then reenable firewall, no success.
I even tried disabling firewall, rebooting and reenabling firewall, without success.
I will now try a reinstall on the android with the latest apk you just suggested.

3 minutes later.... it did not work :-(

Not this time.... BUT, early this morning, I was unable to sync, even manually. Now, at 10:23 AM, the Android did not see the PC, but I was able to sync manually..... :roll:
