How to get the last update (not free) without Google?

Is there a way to get the update without Google, because many peoples don't like to give their credit card data to Google.

No way currently, unfortunately. If there's more similar requests we'll need to come up with something. Although, manual registration seems to be the only possible way at the moment (which we'd still need to implement).

Ok, tell me how you get the Pro version. I've been patiently waiting forever for widgets, you finally release them, and now I have to pay. I will grudgingly (not because I feel you don't deserve it, but because there's been no mention of it ($) until now) pay for Pro, just tell me how to get it. I see it mentioned on Google Play, but no links, downloads, etc.

The best way would still be to get the new version through the Google Play Store. This way you can always be notified about updates automatically. The app has been gradually rolling out for 2 days now, it should reach you no later than today. Please wait till it happens.
And sorry we didn't mention about the Pro version in the beginning. The decision to release it in that form was made not a long time ago. In the end we hope that would benefit all the users allowing us to direct more resources into making the app better (improve usability, add more features and release new versions quicker). The small fee we ask (we didn't want to include ads) would allow you to get the new Pro version features free for lifetime. Or you can skip upgrading to Pro and use the app the old way, we're committed to adding more features with a faster pace into the regular (free) edition, as well. Thanks for the understanding.

Seems there is a bit of cleaning up to do. Today when using EPIM on Android received some message about the Pro version and whether I wanted to upgrade. I accepted, paid and first did not see much difference. Hint: for those with Pro version you might want to clearly mark it as such so people can check if the upgrade has worked.
Then I tried to check on the Pro version in Google shop and could only find one version. I guess that will be fixed.
What disturbs me most is that my synchronisation does not run anymore since the upgrade. Starts, shows message synchronising contacts (where I updated) und then runs forever and never ends. The widgets also do not work but that has time.

I also would like to see a separate download option, so that I do not need to become a Google (groups) member.
In general I prefer to check versions and download APK's myself. That way I have the APK's on my tablet and phone AND in case of problems can easy revert to a lower version.
Google does not allow these kind of actions. In fact in general I can not find the newest APK's after installation as a file on my tablet or phone.

So I wait until another registration is possible and as translator/beta tester remain on the FREE version for now.

We mark it in the About window (accessible via Menu->Settings->About). And there's a toast message thanking users for upgrading to Pro. Maybe we should add more visible notifications, though. Thanks for your thoughts.

There's only one version available and that's normal. Pro version features are unlocked automatically upon upgrading to the Pro version.

Please forward us the synchronization log file, will check what's causing the problem and fix that. You can find logs here: C:\Users\Your_Windows_Username\AppData\Roaming\EssentialPIM Pro\Logs.

I finally got the Pro version upgrade today, and I must say I'm pleased with the widgets. A couple suggestions though, if I may, on improvements that would be welcome. First of all, on the widget itself, a link to adjust the widget settings. Unless I'm missing something, the only way to adjust the Theme and transparency settings is to remove the widget and then re-add it after changing the settings. Additionally, a few more theme choices would be nice. Thank you for your hard work in developing this app, it is a great compliment to your world class pim software. Looking forward to the improvements I'm sure you're already working on.

Upgrade not complete — looks like for me it got stuck somewhere at first. A reboot helped. I could see then "Pro" in the About window and also the widgets showed up right.
Synchronisation still not working — but I saw the last one was before I had changed my PC's disk some days ago. So I suspect the problem is rather there than in your App update. I will check some more and use EMail help if I'm still stuck.

Now about Pro version in Google shop. From other applications I know they offer standard version for free and you can buy Premium key. Your account would show both as installed. Advantage is when you switch your machine (defect, stolen, upgrade) you can immediately get again from Google store and they remember you paid already. For those willing to buy at Google shop that is a nice feature. I understand the concerns about privacy and security. I myself only started buying there once I found out how I could get a prepaid credit card reserved for this purpose.

I have the same problems some people have here as well. I don't want to give my bank account informations to google play store and in addition I am not able to use EPIM on my android any more:
I bought EPIM pro in January for my windows pc and am using it with EPIM on my android.
Today I was not able to sync the android device with my PC, but am asked to buy EPIM pro for Android.
What is the solution to further sync EPIM of PC and smartphone?

You should still be able to use EPIM on your Android, only have to miss out on certain PRO functions. The 3.0.2 version in Free modus works without problems (at least the way I use it) on my phone and tablet.

Can you be more specific and tell us the system information that might be useful. EPIM version(s) and OS (Win and Android) versions. I use the free version 3.0.2 on my phone and I still can sync my data as before, no problems.

Thanks for your appraisal of the app. Yes, unfortunately it's not possible to change the widget settings at the moment, the only way would be to create a new widget. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions, please keep them coming, that helps us to prioritize features for new versions.

The same will happen with your EssentialPIM Pro license, as well. Once you get EssentialPIM to a new device, all the Pro version features will be unlocked automatically. You only need to use the same Google account you purchased the app with.

I have purchased lifetime upgrades to the PC version of epim pro, does this allow me to upgrade my android version. As I feel this should be included.
